Aspilsan Energy is a Turkish cylindrical cell manufacturer in Kayseri, majority owned by the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation. It runs Turkey's first lithium-ion cell production line, at around 220 MWh, producing 18650 and 21700 NMC cells with high discharge rates and good low-temperature performance, with prismatic LFP cells in development. Its defence ownership gives it a domestic, sovereign supply position in Turkey.
